Technologies et Habitats, a disruptive stakeholder
in the construction sector

Founded in 2014 in Haute-Savoie, Technologies et Habitats is a leader in low-carbon housing.

Its totally innovative concept is the industrial prefabrication of complete construction blocks.

They measure about thirteen feet wide, ten feet high and up to forty-five feet long.

Inside, all the fittings are ready to be connected.

Bringing all this activity from the construction site to an industrial level in a repetitive manner allows for increased productivity and the ability to offer affordable low-carbon housing.

Booming growth from the Jura to Hauts-de-France

Technologies et Habitats has a Technocenter in Annecy and a production site in the Jura region.

Faced with the strong growth and the development of their business in the Hauts-de-France region, the company initiated an expansion project north of Paris in the Aisne department in 2021.

Nord France Invest and the Saint Quentin Urban Area Community were asked to help the company set up in the Hauts-de-France region.

The ideal site was identified in Saint-Quentin, a 26,247 square foot building that is ideally located to allow TH the best possible coverage of the Rouen-Lyon axis, its main catchment area.

A strategic location for the Group

The project will be operational in September 2024, and will allow for the creation of 100 jobs.

By early 2026, optimum production capacity will be three modules a day, which means around 400 homes and sales of between €30 and €40 million.

The Saint-Quentin site met the Group’s exact specifications:

  • Requirement to find a large site in a single block,
  • A location at the heart of a logistics hub that allows for the movement of 2 exceptional convoys per day,
  • A location in a city with good accessibility and a wide range of catering and accommodation facilities, since the production site will also be a showroom.

The project received support from the Hauts-de-France Region and the Investir en Hauts-de-France network.

“We’re enthusiastic and eager to get up and running in the Hauts-de-France region. This French region seems to be well ahead of the others in its understanding of the positive impacts of “off-site”, both in terms of decarbonization and social aspects. “

Alain Béjean, Founder and Chairman, Technologies et Habitats
