With an investment of €74 million in 2021 (NEO project), Calais has become a nerve center for the Group’s future innovations.

A HUGE INVESTMENT

In 2021, the site will benefit from a major 74 M€ investment (NEO project), which will allow for:

  • The construction of two new buildings
  • The modernization of a third

In 2022, ASN deployed 5G on its site, making it a flagship of Industry 4.0 and Europe’s largest 5G-connected plant.

Based in Calais since 1891, Alcatel Submarine Networks is a subsidiary of the Finnish group Nokia.

Specialized in submarine telecommunications, the group is a world leader in submarine optical systems.
