Nestlé Purina Petcare upgrades Marconnelle pet food plant

With the improvements, the facility can now produce up to 300,000 tons of kibble a year, with 25% aimed at export markets. The investment program has also secured the plant’s 300 jobs in Hauts-de-France, and the company is considering new hires as the facility expands its product range—and as current employees retire.

Founded in 1972, the Marconnelle plant produces dry food for cats and dogs under the Friskies, Fortiflora, Purina ProPlan, Veterinary Diets and Purina One labels.
