Isla Gourmet:
an ambitious industrial project

Isla Gourmet, the French family-run agrifood company, intends to build a sustainable growth model based on a high-quality range produced in France.

Driven by strong growth ambitions, in August 2023, Isla Gourmet sought a site that would allow it to scale up production in order to:

Produce its own range on the premises
Develop activities to support partners seeking to relocate part of their production to France, while meeting market demands for traceability, proximity, and the promotion of French expertise.

It was in Hauts-de-France, in the heart of the European Metropolis of Lille, that Isla Gourmet found the ideal site for its project: the unfinished factory of the Jean Caby group in Comines, which it purchased from the Holder group.

This establishment therefore represents a structuring milestone for the group.

A commitment to local employment

Isla Gourmet plans to create 50 jobs at the launch of the site in autumn 2026, with a goal of 90 employees within three years, across industrial positions and support functions.

To support this momentum, the company relies on local employment partners: France Travail, APEC, and Proch’Emploi.

This opening is a crucial step in fulfilling our ambition to become an essential reference in the processed product agrifood sector, while continuing to offer our consumers healthy, high-quality products.
