The electric mobility sector in France is in the process of transforming. In Hauts-de-France, the country’s leading automotive region, the revolution is underway.
The arrival of 4 gigafactories (ACC, Verkor, Envision-AESC and ProLogium) and a whole new ecosystem of related stakeholders has created a significant need for skilled manpower.
7,500 direct jobs are expected, for a total of over 17,000 jobs by 2027.
Although the region has a large pool of available manpower, training remains a key factor in anticipating and consolidating recruitment in this sector.
To meet this need, the region has launched the Électro’Mob initiative, a structuring project that outlines the automotive industry’s employment and training strategy for the next five years.
This ambitious initiative aims to support and accelerate the automotive industry’s transition to electromobility by anticipating the sector’s training needs.
It is steered by ARIA Hauts-de-France, thanks to its 25 years of experience in working with manufacturers in the automotive sector in the Hauts-de-France region.
