Hauts-de-France offers many advantages for the automotive industry.

This strategic French sector provides 400,000 jobs, including more than 50,000 in Hauts-de-France.

Toyota itself will employ 4,500 workers at its Onnaing site by 2020.

The region ranks number one in France for vehicle production.

It enjoys a unique position at the heart of the European automotive ecosystem with two thirds of manufacturers within a 500 km radius.

The hot news this week is that Toyota announced on Tuesday that it would manufacture its new SUV in France, at its one and only French site in Onnaing, near Valenciennes.

The latest addition will be produced alongside the longstanding and popular Yaris!
