Refresco announces major investment in Hauts-de-France

New production site

Refresco, a leading European bottler of soft drinks and fruit juices, is building a new bottling plant at Le Quesnoy in Hauts-de-France. The project—an investment representing tens of millions of euros- calls for a new 27,000-sq m manufacturing plant plus a 10,000-sq m state-of-the-art logistics hub to replace Refresco’s current site in Hauts-de-France. Work will get under way early this year and the facility is scheduled to come on line in 2020. “This is very good news for our customers, who will benefit from state-of-the-art production lines and ultra-competitive new logistics for north-south distribution,” said Pierre Bodard, Director General of Refresco France. “It’s also very good news for the region, since it will create many new jobs, both directly and indirectly. And of course it’s very good news for Refresco and our teams at Le Quesnoy, particularly our young employees, since it will create some very attractive career opportunities.”
