UK Business centre in Lille: a soft-landing solution for British companies

A business centre dedicated to British companies opened in Lille, turning Northern France’s capital into a symbol of Franco-British cooperation. This project was initiated BCCI Lille (The British Chamber of Commerce and industry of Lille), the World Trade Centre of Lille, the British Prosperity Council, Jean-Jacques Roussel and Nord France Invest.

What is the goal of the UK Business centre?

The UK Business centre aims to:

#1 Create an ecosystem of experts specialised in cross-Channel trade and expansion as well as professionals in different industries. You will be able to schedule business meetings at the Business Centre.

#2 Provide British companies with a working space for free for 6 months: offices, meeting rooms and an internet connection

In the end, this soft-landing solution will allow those companies to have a footprint on EU soil.

What is the context of this event?

In sight of the Franco-British Summit that will be held in Mars 2023, strengthening the links between our two nations is more important than ever. The UK business centre is 100% is line with this approach and offer British companies a ready-to-use solution to overcome their challenges to access the EU market.

This initiative was labelled Hauts-de-France International – a task force comprised of the Hauts-de-France Regional Council, CCI International and Nord France Invest. Its main goal is to strengthen companies’ and territories’ internationalisation.
