Hauts-de-France ranks as France’s 2nd most attractive region in 2016

France—more attractive than ever

France is one of the most attractive countries in Europe, according to an annual review of foreign direct investment by Business France. In 2016, foreign investors awarded it 1,117 investment projects, up 16% from 2015. Together these investment decisions led to the creation or safeguarding of 30,108 jobs.

Hauts-de-France scores record highs

Northern France ranked second for the third year running, immediately behind the  Greater Paris region, for the number of jobs created or saved. With 103 investment projects, our region created or saved 4,579 jobs, the highest figure since 1998. Today Hauts-de-France ranks first in France for industrial and logistics projects, confirming our exceptional appeal for companies doing business in these areas.
