Naturopera invests €14 million to launch its first production site in France

The company has finalised the acquisition of an eco-responsible factory, dedicated to producing eco-friendly nappies. The 19,000m2 premises is located at Bully les Mines in the Lens-Lievin Agglomeration, Hauts-de-France.

From 2022, Naturopera’s production capacity will reach 200 million nappies per year. It plans to install a second production line in 2024.

The investment will boost the regional economy by creating 100 jobs by 2025.

A strategic move to a region of excellence

At the heart of Northern Europe, Naturopero has chosen Hauts-de-France for two key reasons:

  • A strategic location providing fast access to French and Northern European markets

An innovative, cutting-edge ecological project

Naturopera is championing the way with eco-friendly nappies in France and strives to be a market leader in innovation, drawing on the latest machinery and equipment.

The state of the art technology is equally environmentally friendly:

Financial backers committed to regenerating France’s industry

Naturopera has been overwhelmingly supported by public players BPI France, the Lens-Liévin Agglomeration and the Hauts-de-France Region as well as receiving private investment from the Turenne Group.

Nord France Invest assisted Naturopera in identifying the ideal site: meeting industrial requirements to produce hygiene products, and biodiversity needs for the site to welcome clients and the general public.

Nord France Invest worked in close collaboration with the numerous stakeholders: the state, the Hauts-de-France Region and the Lens-Liévin Agglomeration.
