Technord is boosting its regional presence
in Hauts-de-France

After Villeneuve-d’Ascq, Orléans and Lyon, the Belgian leader is now opening a 4th site in France, in Dunkirk.

By setting up operations on the Dunkirk coast, the company aims to:

  • create 10 new jobs in the area
  • get closer to its existing customers, such as Aluminium Dunkerque, ArcelorMittal, BASF, Délifrance, Coca-Cola, Minakem and Versalis
  • join a dense industrial ecosystem, particularly in the steel industry, chemistry, food-processing and energy sectors, that are stimulated in particular by the development of the battery industry

All with a strategy of proximity in mind, to develop local expertise.

Expansion supported by the Invest
in Hauts-de-France network

Technord is fully aware of the potential for sales development in the port area of Dunkirk. However, the company ran into difficulty in finding premises that met their requirements:

  • office space to rent
  • with a surface area of 130 m² to 200 m²
  • close to Dunkirk’s industrial zones

The company therefore called upon the support of regional economic development stakeholders:

🔎Discover our customized services

Expanding in the Hauts-de-France region represents a key strategic challenge for both Technord and local manufacturers. Our proximity to Dunkirk was a major priority, but we initially struggled to find office space that met our needs. We then reached out to the Region and various local economic stakeholders. Their strong commitment to supporting our development project enabled us to visit several potential sites in our target area, ultimately leading us to the ideal location for opening our second office in Hauts-de-France.
