Strong performance at a European level
The appeal of Hauts-de-France at a European level was also confirmed by the IBM study. It showed the region was well-positioned compared to other regions and countries, such as Belgium, the Amsterdam/Rotterdam conurbation and Lithuania.
The IBM Global Business Services report 2019 in a nutshell
The IBM study is based on real decisions made by companies on where to set up new operations or further develop existing businesses around the world. IBM’s approach for measuring the success of each country focuses on those investment projects whose location is clear. This is the case for the vast majority of so-called “new” investment projects as well as new expansions of existing operations by foreign companies.
