Hauts-de-France, France’s number one automotive region

Hauts-de-France offers many advantages for the automotive industry. This strategic French sector provides 400,000 jobs, including more than 50,000 in Hauts-de-France. Toyota itself will employ 4,500 workers at its Onnaing site by 2020.

The region ranks number one in France for vehicle production. It enjoys a unique position at the heart of the European automotive ecosystem with two thirds of manufacturers within a 500 km radius. It also boasts the presence of three global manufacturers: Toyota, PSA and Renault.
