L’olivier Assurances expands in the Lille area

25 Feb 2014 | Investment, Customer Service

L’olivier Assurances, the French subsidiary of British group Admiral, a specialist vehicle insurance provider, has announced that it is opening a shared service center in Marcq-en-Barœul, on the outskirts of Lille.

With the opening of a 900 sq. m. shared service center (customer services, call and administrative center, IT services) in Marcq-en-Barœul, the company hopes to create 250 new jobs over three years.

With the Admiral group regularly well placed in the “Great Place to Work” index, the Lille area was chosen for its highly qualified talent pool, proximity to Paris and the solid commitment of local stakeholders.

“We are very happy with our choice, given that the region offers us the skillsets we need to provide our customers with the best possible service. The first stage in the project will be to set up new premises for the 25 salespeople we are currently recruiting. We would like to thank the Invest in France Agency, as well as Lille’s Agency and Nord France Invest for their support in implementing this project”, commented Mr. Christophe Sanchez, Managing Director of L’olivier Assurances.

“This new investment reflects the willingness of UK firms to enter the French market. More than 600 British groups now have operations in France, where they employ 260,000 people. I am pleased to see that cooperation between the IFA and its partners in the Lille region has ensured that L’olivier Assurances received high-quality support”, noted Mr. David Appia, Chairman and CEO of the IFA.

Mr. Luc Doublet, President of Nord France Invest and Lille’s agency, welcomes L’olivier Assurances to the area and is delighted at the arrival of a British-owned multinational group that already has operations in five countries.

L’olivier Assurances is the French subsidiary of British group Admiral, Europe’s leading car insurer. L’olivier Assurances specializes in car insurance and allows its customers to take out policies over the phone or online, which enables it to offer competitive rates. Thanks to the vast experience of Admiral, which now has more than three million policyholders, customers of L’olivier Assurances are served by a team of dedicated car insurance experts whose goal is to offer motorists the best possible cover, as well as great transparency, responsiveness and quality of service.
