IndustriLAB drives innovation at hub dedicated to the industry of tomorrow
Hauts-de-France has made industry a pillar of the region’s economic development. Learn more about IndustriLAB—a major player in industrial R&D and a key resource.
IndustriLAB—accelerating access to the industry of tomorrow
IndustriLAB, a platform dedicated to industrial innovation, was created after lengthy discussions between regional authorities and industrialists already operating in Northern France. The latter include Stelia Aerospace, which designs and builds forward fuselage sections for Airbus along with other composite parts used in aircraft manufacturing. Stelia sought a research and development facility within easy reach of its own production site.
Enter IndustriLAB, based in Méaulte. This shared center embodies the region’s ambition to serve the industry of tomorrow by making resources available to manufacturers in all fields, from automotive to farm machinery, special equipment and rail. It does this by harnessing key technologies—virtual reality, robotics, composite materials, 3D printing and more—and by encouraging partners to work together to meet the challenges of a changing world.
Gaining competitive edge together
At IndustriLAB, users access professional equipment that allows them to pool expertise and test, fine-tune and certify projects before bringing them to market.
