Zetar Group chooses Lille as launching point for French market

Zetar PLC, a leading manufacturer of confectionery and natural snacks in the UK, has opened a sales office in the Villeneuve d’Ascq area of greater Lille. With its subsidiary Zetar France now in place, the group plans to bring its entire product range into France and Western Europe.

Zetar currently has two divisions—confectionery and natural snacks—and has expanded its product and brand portfolio through a proactive acquisition strategy, adding six new companies since 2005.  The group plans to grow its confectionery and natural snack business while maintaining its reputation for quality and product innovation. Zetar is also the UK market leader in character products and other sweets for children.

Working with the Lille Metropole Development Agency and IFA London, Nord France Invest helped Zetar set up its new office, providing support from the exploratory phase through implementation.
