Refresco targets premium market

A new line at Refresco’s Hauts-de-France plant will package fruit juices in cartons, positioning the company to move into the premium and organic market.

Refresco plans to invest in a new packaging line at its Le Quesnoy plant

A leading European bottler of soft drinks and fruit juices, Refresco has four French production sites and now plans to add a new carton line at its packaging plant in Le Quesnoy, near Valenciennes. Total investment will range from €2 million to €5 million, depending on the company’s choice of options.

The brand-new line will package juices in a one-liter Elopak carton, enabling Refresco to handle premium products and take new strategic directions, including penetration of the organic and pure juice markets.
