    NutrEvent: The main event in Nutrition & Health Care innovation

    Every two years, NutrEvent brings together the worlds of science, industry, and regulation to focus on a single objective: connecting research with the market. For its 3rd edition, 500+ participants are expected at Lille Grand Palais, about half of them from other countries. Come to NutrEvent June 19 and 20.

    An event focusing on nutrition and health-care issues

    NutrEvent is a regular get-together for everyone in the Nutrition and Health Care sectors. Its objective is to facilitate connections among manufacturers, scientists, and regulators, and to help them lay the groundwork for mutually beneficial partnerships. NutrEvent brings all these stakeholders up to date with regulatory changes and lets them share in the debate, understand the consequences for the processes of innovation, and discuss the changes being made in the regulatory framework.

    This event puts those in the Nutrition and Health Care sectors in touch with partners, and enables them to find funding sources and discuss the latest scientific and clinical advances. It also introduces market trends, provides a better understanding of regulatory changes, and introduces the industry’s success stories.

    The 2013 Programme: 1 event – 4 themes

    There will be 14 lectures featured over the two days, dealing with specific topics such as “Are consumers the main engine driving innovation?” and “Less salt, less sugar: big expectations, but what about taste?” A plenary session will bring together all the participants to discuss the topic: “Introducing open innovation into the Nutrition & Health Care industries” and will be led by top names in the field, like Rolf BOS from FRIESLAND CAMPINA, Claude CAVADINI from NESTLE and Louise DYE, professor at Leeds University.  

    This year the business convention will be getting the attention it deserves. It’s the core of NutrEvent. An event-within-the-event that introduces innovation professionals to made-to-order opportunities for presenting, negotiating and developing their research and innovation projects in the field of Nutrition & Health Care.

    The NutriAwards will recognise those participants who have achieved innovations in Nutrition & Health Care. Two awards for two topics: “Product Innovation (finished products, ingredients, etc.)” and “Process Innovation.”

    NutriCareer will be dedicated to human capital, an essential link in the innovation chain. A roundtable conference will be devoted to the issue of “Industry needs and vision in the area of recruitment and training.” There will be a space in the exhibition area for a job fair.
