Major logistics hub

Scapartois is a major warehouse and logistics cooperative serving Northern France from its base near Arras. The 63,000 sq m site supplies French retailer Leclerc, delivering goods to stores and pickup points for online orders in five départements.

Scapartois currently has 380 employees and annual revenue of €732 million.

€20 million earmarked for bold expansion

When Scapartois first opened in 1992, it supplied 19 Leclerc outlets averaging 2,000 sq m. “We're now serving 38 hypermarkets—averaging 5,000 sq m—plus 38 pickup points and three Leclerc Express outlets,” says Bertrand Le Côme, who heads the group.

To keep pace with Leclerc’s fast-growing network of stores, Scapartois is now planning to expand its logistics hub, adding 23,000 sq m of space exclusively for produce and other perishables. The €20 million investment will increase the facility’s surface area by one-third.

Bright future

Over the next three years, Scapartois expects to create some 40 jobs, with revenue projected to reach €1 billion in five years.
