IÉSEG wins international accreditation from AMBA

14 Oct 2016 | Front page, A region on the move

IÉSEG School of Management—a Lille institution for 50 years—has won accreditation from the prestigious UK-based Association of MBAs (AMBA), earning a place among the best business programs in the world.

Recognition in France and worldwide

In winning AMBA accreditation, IÉSEG has joined an elite group of international business schools—less than 1% worldwide—that hold the “triple crown” of international accreditations: AMBA, AACSB and EQUIS. A true Lille institution, the School earned accreditation from EQUIS in 2012 and AACSB 2013 for its business education program.

IÉSEG has obtained the three principal international accreditations in four years, which underlines the dynamism of the School. The AMBA accreditation recognizes and rewards the efforts of all stakeholders and marks another important step in [our] development. It will enhance our reputation both in France and internationally,” said Jean-Philippe Ammeux, Director of IÉSEG.

The Association of MBAs applies rigorous assessment criteria, and accredits individual programs rather than entire institutions. IÉSEG now holds AMBA accreditation for three of its programs: Executive MBA, International MBA and Master of Science in International Business.

AMBA’s auditors praised the School for its commitment to promoting internationalization, student diversity and a positive learning experience—strengths that will help IÉSEG and its graduates conquer even more of the world.
